Spring is here and that means there are tons of people and pups outside enjoying these sunny days in Bethesda! I would like to use this graphic as an opportunity and reminder to please be respectful of your neighbors and please keep all dogs leashed in public areas. It can be dangerous for a strange dog to run up to a leashed dog- what would you do if a strange person ran up to you? Dogs can have a multitude of reactions in any given situation, so it is better to be safe and ask in advance if your dog can mingle before you get too close. Let's look forward to enjoying the outdoors in a peaceful way for all dogs and people :).

Summer Is In Full Swing!
Things have been busy, busy, busy around Mary's Pet Squad, which is something I am extremely happy about! The sweltering heat has brought in the start of vacation season and I am thrilled to be welcomed into the hearts of so many new pets and families :). July 4th is just around the corner and it's one of the busiest holidays of the summer, so remember to book pet care soon before services are limited! Summer Pet Sitting, Had Me A Blast!
I had the best Memorial Day Weekend caring for my clients' pets! It was such a pleasure seeing these boys while their parents were off for the long holiday. Sterling, the kitty, was so much fun to get to know. He has the most striking green eyes and knew how to express all the emotions with them- Check out our Instagram for photos of all his looks! I love an expressive and playful kitty :). I also took care of Cecil, who is a Lab/Mountain Cur mix. He was so sweet and happy-go-lucky; Don't you just want to snuggle with him after seeing his photo??

Dogs Need Exercise, Too!
Please meet Zeke, or Zekey as I affectionately call him, a 13-year old Affenpinscher mix. He is a super sweet gentle giant with a feisty heart of gold :). He gets so excited to stretch his legs for a mid-day walk when I arrive, and even more excited when we run into other dogs along our path! I have so loved getting to know him over the last year on our walks and even had the honor of boarding him. Few things are more joyous than snuggling up to a big dog, in my opinion! If you find yourself out of the house on a regular day for more than 6 hours, your adult dog probably needs a dog walker! We offer 15-minute, 25-minute and 45-minute walks to help your dog get all the exercise and potty breaks they require, tailored to their individual needs!
